Terell Parks snagged a double-double, scoring 14 points and pulling down 15 rebounds, to help Western Illinois snap a 15-game losing streak with an 84-49 victory over Greenville on Tuesday night.

The Leathernecks (1-2) took the lead for good less than four minutes into the first half and kept widening the margin. Their biggest lead was the final score.

Western Illinois' last win came on Jan. 15 against North Dakota State.

Obi Emegano led the Leathernecks with 19 points while Tommie Tyler added 14 and David Gebru 10. The Leathernecks shot 54 percent from the field, including 60 percent in the second half.

Alex Mumphard came off the bench to lead the Panthers (2-2) with 19 points.

Greenville finished shooting just 27 percent from the field.
