CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) Julian Eleby scored 17 of his career-high 43 points after regulation as VMI defeated Western Carolina 113-111 in double overtime on Saturday.

Eleby, whose previous career high was 19, knocked down 11 of 22 field goals, including eight 3-pointers.
