CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) Virginia coach Tony Bennett says Justin Anderson's surgery went well.

Anderson had surgery Sunday to repair a broken finger on his (left) shooting hand. He was injured in the first half of the second-ranked Cavaliers victory against No. 9 Louisville on Saturday night.

Anderson is expected to be able to play in four to six weeks. Bennett says he expects the medical staff to get a better idea on a timetable for Anderson's return as he progresses through rehabilitation.

Anderson is the second-leading scorer for ACC-leading Virginia (21-1, 8-1) with a 13.4 average. He also leads the conference in 3-point field goal percentage at 48.4 percent, having made 46 of his 95 attempts.
