UNLV forward Dwayne Morgan suspended indefinitely

LAS VEGAS (AP) UNLV junior forward Dwayne Morgan was suspended indefinitely from the team following his arrest last weekend on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge in a dispute with a taxi driver over cab fare.
Associate athletic director Andy Grossman said Wednesday that Morgan was suspended from all team activities following a meeting with coach Marvin Menzies.
Grossman says the team is still collecting information about the arrest on Saturday.
Officer Larry Hadfield says the 21-year-old Morgan was arrested after the taxi driver sought help at a police substation not far from the UNLV campus.
Hadfield says Morgan was booked at the county jail and released with a summons to appear in court at a later date.
Morgan has averaged 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds in 32 career games.
