Nick Paulos scored 25 points to lead UNC Greensboro to a 72-60 win over Towson on Sunday.

Kyle Randall and Trevis Simpson added 10 points apiece for the Spartans (2-3), who won despite shooting just 37.9 percent (25 of 66) from the floor in the Maui Invitational.

Towson shot 55 percent (22 of 40) but committed 28 turnovers in the loss.

The teams stayed close in the first half and went into the locker room tied at 21. Jervon Pressley hit a jumper to put the Tigers ahead 32-30 with 15:32 left to play, but Simpson's free throws and a jumper by Randall started a 20-7 Spartans run.

UNC Greensboro never trailed again, outscoring Towson 51-39 in the second half to seal it.

Robert Nwankwo led Towson (0-4) with 17 points. Deon Jones added 15 points and Marcus Damas chipped in with 10.
