David Williams' layup with 1 second left gave UNC Greensboro a 61-60 win over Samford on Sunday.

The Spartans (6-14, 4-4 Southern Conference) trailed 60-59 with 20 seconds left before missing consecutive field goals. However, they grabbed the offensive rebound on both, the first coming after Jeffrey Merrit's block of Derrell Armstrong and the second after a miss by Trevis Simpson that Williams scooped up.
