Darryl Proctor scored 33 points including two to force overtime, lifting defending America East champion UMBC to a come-from-behind 79-75 victory over third-seeded Boston University in the league quarterfinals Saturday. The sixth-seeded Retrievers play in Sunday's semifinals against seventh-seeded Albany, which upset second-seeded Vermont 56-52 in overtime earlier Saturday. Boston (17-13) lost despite 33 points, seven rebounds and four assists by Corey Lowe. The Terriers led by eight when Lowe scored with 3:13 left, but Boston was outscored, 9-1, the rest of regulation and only hit one basket in the final 8:13, counting overtime. John Holland added 20 points for BU. Justin Fry added 19 points and 10 rebounds and freshman Chauncey Gilliam had 16 points for UMBC (14-16).
