UConn keeps hold of top spot in women's AP Top 25

UConn remains atop The Associated Press poll for another week after cruising to two easy wins.

The Huskies routed Houston and Tulsa and are winning its American Athletic conference games by an average of 49 points. They visit Tulane on Monday night.

South Carolina, Baylor, Notre Dame and Maryland round out the first five. The Gamecocks host No. 6 Tennessee in a key conference matchup on Monday night. The Irish play No. 8 Louisville.

Oregon State is seventh with Florida State ninth. There were no changes in the first nine teams.

Arizona State moves back into 10th after beating UCLA and Southern Cal.

California enters the poll at No. 24 after splitting two games with Stanford this past week. Northwestern comes in at No. 25, marking the first time since 1996 that the Wildcats are ranked.

Nebraska and James Madison fell out.
