UCLA sophomore guard Jordan Adams has changed his mind about staying in school and is instead headed for the NBA Draft, according to multiple reports.
Adams, who led the Bruins in scoring with 17.4 points per game and helped lead the team to the Sweet 16 last month, joins fellow UCLA guards Kyle Anderson and Zach LaVine in declaring for the pros early.
Adams had declared less than two weeks ago that "staying at UCLA for my junior year is a win-win situation," but it's possible that other players who decided to stay in school, including Kentucky's Andrew and Aaron Harrison, prompted Adams to foresee his draft prospects would be better.
With the trio of guards gone, UCLA will be thin on experience in the backcourt but have a wealth of young talent in the frontcourt, including incoming freshman Kevon Looney, a consensus top-15 prospect in the Class of 2014.
