Lazeric Jones hit 7 of 9 field-goal attempts for 18 points and Joshua Smith added 10 points to help UCLA to a 73-72 overtime win against Arizona State on Saturday.

Reeves Nelson was also a major factor for the Bruins (14-7, 6-3 Pac-10) with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

UCLA outlasted the Sun Devils (9-12, 1-8) in the extra session 12-11 after opening it with a 9-2 run.

It was Arizona State's seventh straight conference loss.

Arizona State came back from a 15-point early second-half deficit to tie at 61 with 23 seconds to play on a putback by Trent Lockett off a missed free throw. That followed back-to-back 3-pointers by Arizona State's Ty Abbott.

Lockett led the Sun Devils with 17 points and Rihards Kuksiks added 15.
