UCF remains unbeaten, beats SE Louisiana 74-49
Keith Clanton scored 16 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as Central Florida beat Southeastern Louisiana 74-49 on Saturday to remain undefeated.
The Knights (7-0) shot 31 for 58 from the floor (53.4 percent) and led by as many as 29, 70-41, with 4:03 left to play.
Isaac Sosa came off the bench to lead UCF with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, added 13 points for the Knights.
The Lions came into the game as the ninth-highest scoring team in the country (86.2 ppg) and third-best in team shooting percentage (52.6 percent). But S.E. Louisiana shot just 29.5 percent (18 for 61) and scored 49 points - both season-lows.
Trent Hutchin, 18 points, was the only player in double figures for the Lions (4-2), who were outscored 40-24 in the paint and 27-12 on points off turnovers.
