Orlando Johnson scored 28 points to lead UC Santa Barbara to a 64-57 victory over UC Riverside Saturday night.
James Nunnally added 19 points for the Gauchos (10-6, 3-2 Big West).
Elliott Berry and Javon Borum had 12 points each for UC Riverside (7-9, 2-2). Javon Borum scored 12 and Kareem Nitoto had 10 for the Highlanders.
Johnson had 16 points in the first half, going 7 for 7 from the field, as Santa Barbara built a 39-29 lead. Nunnally scored 12 in the first half. Johnson finished with an 11-for-16 night from outside and made 5 of 6 free throws.
