Kendall Timmons and Aaron Holmes scored 18 points apiece and Tulane hit a school-record 15 3-pointers in a 91-70 win over Auburn-Montgomery on Tuesday night.

Three days after tying a school record for fewest 3-pointers - 0 for 11 in a 70-67 loss to Virginia Commonwealth - the Green Wave had seven of 10 players hit from beyond the arc.

Tulane's previous record was 13 against Alabama State on Nov. 30, 2009. The Green Wave's 31 attempts were the third-highest in school history.

Kris Richard, who had 16 points, was 4 of 9 from long range, and Jordan Callahan hit 3 of 8 3-pointers to finish with 12 points.

The NAIA Senators (3-8) made just 3 of 19 3-pointers.

Auburn-Montgomery led 17-16 with 9:01 to go in the first half, but Tulane was 8 of 16 from long range to take a 41-31 halftime lead.

Stephen Jordan had 20 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Senators.
