Dominique Buckley scored 11 points to pace Toledo to a 64-54 victory over Texas-Pan American on Sunday in the Texas-Pan American Tip-Off Classic.
Rian Pearson and Matt Smith added 10 apiece for the Rockets (2-1), who never trailed. Julius Brown had a game-best seven assists and made 7 of 8 free throws.
Brandon Provost scored a game-high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead the Broncs (1-3).
Jared Maree finished with eight rebounds for the Broncs, who won the battle of the boards 46-31.

Texas-Pan American was done in by 18 turnovers and anemic 31 percent shooting (19 of 61).
Toledo led 36-23 at halftime and did not trail after that.
