To know DePaul coach Leitao is to 'appreciate a special human being'

DePaul basketball isn't simply trying to win basketball games based on their new coaching hire: They're trying to change the program's entire culture.

Ironically enough, the more things change, the more they stay the same for the Blue Demons. This is Leitao's second stint as DePaul's head coach, but the program floundered during his absence. Leitao sang the national anthem on Wednesday night in front of a receptive Chicago crowd.

For the sake of DePaul fans, they hope his commitment to excellence on and off the floor will help the Blue Demons restore their image.
