Tinkle helps Oregon State to rare win at Stanford, 62-50

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) Tres Tinkle had 19 points and Oregon State never trailed in a 62-50 win at Stanford that gave the Beavers their first road victory in a Pac-12 conference game in more than a year.
Gary Payton added 14 points and Malcolm Duvivier had 11 for Oregon State (15-8, 6-6 Pac 12), which has won three straight.
Rosco Allen scored 12 points to lead Stanford (11-11, 4-7), which lost its fourth straight.

It was just the second win by Oregon State at Stanford since 1993. The Beavers had lost 20 of their previous 21 games at Maples Pavilion, winning only in 2009. The victory was the first for the Beavers in a conference road game since Jan. 17, 2015, snapping a streak of 10 straight road losses in Pac-12 play.
