Brandon Provost put in a layup at the last second to lift Texas-Pan American over South Dakota 75-74 on Thursday night.

The game winner came after Louie Krogman nailed a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to give South Dakota (15-14, 6-5 Great West) the lead.

Provost finished with 22 points. Ruben Cabrera grabbed a double-double for the Broncs (6-23, 2-9) with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Jared Maree scored 12 points.

The Broncs held the advantage most of the way and took their largest lead of 12 points with 9 1/2 minutes left.

But the Coyotes chipped away at the lead and tied it twice before going ahead for on Krogman's 3.

Kendall Cutler led the Coyotes with a career-high 22 points while Krogman added 18 and Charlie Westbrook 12.
