RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) Tahjere McCall scored 22 points as Tennessee State held on in the final seconds to edge Eastern Kentucky 79-78 on Saturday.

The Tigers (18-7, 9-3 Ohio Valley) led by three with six seconds remaining when Eastern Kentucky's Jarelle Reischel made a tip shot to make it 79-78. A steal by Eastern Kentucky's Isaac McGlone at the other end gave the Colonels (14-14, 5-8) one more chance to score but Reischel missed two consecutive shots as time expired.
