Kenny Moore had 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead five players in double figures and Tennessee State manhandled Fisk on the boards for an 85-50 victory Monday night.
Fisk jumped out to a five-point lead in the first minute, but the Tigers quickly assumed control of the game, helped in large part by their 64-32 rebounding advantage. The Tigers grabbed 36 offensive rebounds, paced by Robert Covington who got 10 of his 17 on that end.
Michael Green (nine points) added 11 rebounds. That helped the Tigers to a 32-8 advantage in second-chance points.
Patrick Miller had 16 points, Chris Conner and Covington each had 12 and Jacquan Nobles added 11 as the Tigers evened their record at 1-1.
The Bulldogs (1-5) got 15 points from Devardo Williams and 12 from Harold Jenkins, but it couldn't prevent them from falling behind by as many as 36 points.
