Kenny Moore scored 22 points to lead four Tennessee State players in double figures in a 77-67 victory over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday night.

Wil Peters scored 16, including 10 of 10 free throws, as the Tigers (2-6, 1-1 Ohio Valley) ended a five-game losing streak.

Jacquan Nobles added 14 points and Robert Covington 11.

Leon Powell scored 18 to pace the Redhawks (2-6, 0-2), who held a 33-29 rebounding edge. Lucas Nutt and Anthony Allison added 17 points apiece.

Tennessee State never trailed, and its lead peaked at 19 points, 31-12, with 6:51 left in the first half when Moore hit a 3-pointer. The Tigers led 37-23 at intermission.

Tennessee State pushed ahead 44-30 on Covington's jumper with 18:26 left, but the Redhawks closed within 44-39 on Allison's free throw with 14:11 to play. But the Tigers cruised after that.

The Tigers lead the series 21-17.
