Ronnie Moss scored 20 points and TCU beat Jackson State 86-62 Friday, winning the school's fifth-straight season opener.
Amric Fields scored 18 points in first game with the Horned Frogs, the highest-scoring freshman debut for TCU since 1993-94.
Garlon Green and Greg Hill each added nine points. Hank Thorns had nine points and a career-best 10 assists in his TCU debut. Thorns sat out last season after transferring from Virginia Tech.
TCU made 11 of 20 attempted 3-pointers.

Tyrone Hanson had 14 points, four assists and eight rebounds for the Tigers. Jenirro Bush added 14 points, and De'Suan Dixon had 11 points and eight rebounds.
