Kyan Anderson scored 35 points on 13-of-20 shooting and hit two key free throws in the final seconds to give TCU a 76-73 victory over UAB at the South Padre Island Invitational on Saturday.

UAB trailed by two possessions with 4 seconds to play before Jordan Swing hit a 3-pointer to make it 74-73. Quincy Taylor fouled Anderson, who hit two free-throws with 3 seconds left to extend his team's lead to 3 at 76-73. Anderson was 8 of 10 from the free-throw line for TCU (4-2). On the ensuing possession for UAB, Jekore Tyler missed a 3-pointer as time expired.

Garlon Green had 14 points and was the only other player in double figures for the Horned Frogs.

The Blazers (3-3) had five players in double figures with Rod Rucker scored 13 points, Swing had 12, Terence Jones and Robert Williams each had 11 and Fahro Alihodzic chipped in with 10.
