J.R. Cadot scored 18 points, including a pair of key free throws with 13 seconds left, as TCU hung on for a 75-69 victory over Texas Tech on Tuesday night.

The Horned Frogs (7-2) led by double digits for most of the second half before Texas Tech (4-4) pulled within 71-69 on a 3-pointer by Toddrick Gotcher with 22 seconds remaining. Cadot followed with his two free throws to extend the lead back to four, and Hank Thorns added two more from the line with 3 seconds left.

Garlon Green also had 18 points for TCU, Thorns added 15 and Amric Fields had 11. Cadot also had 10 rebounds.

Jordan Tolbert hit 12 of 16 shots and all three of his free throws to lead Texas Tech with 27 points. Gotcher added 14.

The Red Raiders shot 54.5 percent from the field to just 37.3 for TCU, but were plagued by 20 turnovers.
