Minnesota coach Tubby Smith says suspended guard Devron Bostick will play for the first time this season on Saturday against Brown.
Bostick missed the first seven games for an unspecified violation of team rules.
There has been no change in the status of Minnesota's other two suspended players. Freshman Royce White pleaded guilty last week to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct and theft stemming from an incident at the Mall of America.
Smith says he is still waiting for another investigation into the theft of a laptop from a student's dorm to be resolved before he makes a decision on White's status.
Forward Trevor Mbakwe remains suspended pending the outcome of an assault case in Miami.
