STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) Carson Puriefoy scored two baskets in 16 seconds, the first four points in a 33-7 second-half rally that propelled Stony Brook to a 69-60 comeback win over Columbia Saturday night.

Columbia opened the second half with 3-pointers from Luke Petrasek and Grant Mullins to build a 42-25 lead a little over two minutes in.

The Seawolves (9-4) called timeout at 17:38 and Puriefoy left the huddle to score a layup, steal the ball from Petrasek, score another layup and, after second Petrasek turnover, pass to Jameel Warney for a layup in what became an 11-0 surge.

Warney scored 20 points - his sixth straight 20-point game - Puriefoy added 18 and Ahmad Walker 11.
