Bryan Dougher scored 14 points, Dave Coley added 11 as Stony Brook held on to beat Fairleigh Dickinson 66-59 on Thursday night.

The Seawolves (3-1) led 34-29 at halftime and were able to maintain a lead throughout the second half thanks to cold shooting - 22 of 66 (33.3 percent) - from the Knights (0-1).

The Knights struggled from 3-point range as well, shooting 6 for 26 (23.1 percent) compared to 9 of 24 (37.5 percent) for the Seawolves.

One player who didn't struggle for Fairleigh Dickinson was Mike Scott, who scored a game-high 20 points on 8-of-17 shooting. Kamil Svrdlik and Briahn Smith each added 11 points for the Knights. Svrdlik also grabbed 14 rebounds.

Stony Brook shot 20 for 56 (35.7 percent) from the floor and outrebounded the Knights 51-41.
