Bryan Dougher scored 18 points as Stony Brook defeated New Hampshire 63-56 on Wednesday night for its second victory over the Wildcats this season.

Dougher, Anthony Jackson and Dave Coley hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions by the Seawolves (10-14, 5-7 America East Conference) to give them a 51-35 lead with 8:37 left.

New Hampshire (11-14, 5-8) scored the next 10 points before Dougher hit another 3-pointer and then two free throws for a 56-45 Stony Brook lead at the 4:10 mark.

Dougher and Leonard Hayes, who finished with 11 points, each hit three 3-pointers for the Seawolves, who were 11 of 24 beyond the arc in the game to the Wildcats' 7 of 25.

Tyrone Conley scored 17 points to lead the Wildcats and moved into 10th place on the school's career scoring list with 1,216 points. Chandler Rhoads added 14 points and Jordon Bronner 13.
