Junior guard Gabriel Harris will miss the remainder of the season for Stanford after having surgery to repair his injured right knee.
Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins made the announcement Thursday night before the Cardinal's Pac-12 opener against UCLA. Additional details on Harris' injury were not immediately announced.
Harris averaged 3.6 points and two rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game this season off the bench. He scored a career-high 12 points against San Diego on Nov. 15, 2010, but only played sparingly last season.
Harris had been a key contributor off the bench this season behind freshman point guard Chasson Randle.
