St. John's beats Marquette 67-51

MILWAUKEE (AP) Rysheed Jordan scored 23 points and led four players in double digits as St. John's beat Marquette 67-51 on Wednesday night.

Jordan was 6 of 11 from the field including five 3-pointers. D'Angelo Harrison added 21 points, six rebounds and three assists for the Red Storm (21-9, 10-7 Big East Conference). Phil Greene IV had 11 points and eight rebounds and Sir'Dominic Pointer had 10 points and grabbed 13 boards. The team finished shooting 23 of 59 (39 percent) from the field, including 12 of 24 (50 percent) from distance.

Harrison sank three 3-pointers early in the second half and Jordan hit another midway to extend the Red Storm's 34-27 halftime advantage to 53-41 with 8:42 to play. Harrison and Jordan teamed up for back-to-back 3s with 2:07 remaining to seal the win.

Matt Carlino led the Golden Eagles (11-18, 3-14) with 17 points.
