Will Felder scored a career-high 30 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead St. Francis (Pa.) past Wagner 84-78 on Thursday night.
The Red Flash (9-19, 7-10 Northeast Conference) used a 22-11 run in the second half to open up an 11-point advantage, 61-50, with less than 8 minutes to play.
A jumper from Wagner guard Tyler Murray tied the score at 39 with 15:15 remaining before an 11-3 run, capped by two free throws by Felder, put St. Francis ahead 50-42.
St. Francis led by at least five the rest of the way.
Anthony Ervin added 14 points, Chris Johnson had 13 and Umar Shannon 12 for the Red Storm, who posted a 40-32 rebounding edge over the Seahawks (13-15, 9-8).
Murray finished with 17 points, Chris Martin added 16 and Latif Rivers 12 for Wagner, which shot 50.8 percent from the floor (30 of 59), but made only 11 of 20 free-throw attempts (55 percent).
