St. Francis (NY) 81, Monmouth (NJ) 64

Jalen Cannon scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and St. Francis (N.Y.) had five players score in double figures in an 81-64 Northeast Conference victory over Monmouth (N.J.) on Thursday night.

Stefan Perunicic and Brent Jones scored 14 points each, and Travis Nichols and Matt Milk added 12 apiece for the Terriers (7-9, 4-1), who won their third consecutive game. Milk made all six of his shots.

St. Francis shot 53.7 percent (29 of 54) overall, including 66.7 percent (20 of 30) in the first half, when it took a 48-28 lead. Monmouth (3-15, 1-4) shot just 27.6 percent (8 of 29) in the first half.

The Terriers also had a 49-22 rebounding advantage against the Hawks, their largest edge over any opponent this season.

Will Campbell scored 15 points and Jesse Steele had 13 points and six assists to lead Monmouth.
