Andrew Nicholson had 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Charlon Kloof scored 19 to lead St. Bonaventure to a 71-68 win over Saint Joseph's on Friday, advancing to the Atlantic 10 tournament semifinals.

The Bonnies (18-11) play Massachusetts after the Minutemen knocked off top-seeded Temple 77-71 in the first game of the day.

Carl Jones scored 24 points, and Langston Galloway and Daryus Quarles each had 12 for the Hawks (20-13), who are likely headed to the NIT.

Kloof hit a 3-pointer late for a 67-63 lead, giving the Bonnies the cushion it needed to hang on. Jones pulled the Hawks within one on a 3-pointer, but Galloway was whistled for a crucial offensive foul that gave the ball back to St. Bonaventure. Jones also had a shot blocked by Nicholson in the final minute.
