Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis says the Spartans will wear camouflage basketball uniforms against North Carolina on Veterans Day.

Hollis says the school's equipment manager Dave Pruder worked closely with Nike to design the white jerseys and shorts with a gray-green pattern called urban camo. Hollis adds that Spartans, ''USA'' and player numbers will be Spartan Green with ''USA'' in place of the players' last names on the backs of the jerseys.

The game will be played Nov. 11 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson.
