Tim Williams scored 22 points and South Alabama jumped all over Houston Baptist 91-62 on Sunday.

Leading 24-14 with 10:13 left in the opening half, the Jaguars (3-5) went on a 15-4 run to take a 21-point lead. South Alabama led 48-28 at halftime.

Javier Carter scored 13 points, Allyn Cooks added 12 and Gary Redus 10 for the Jaguars. Augustine Rubit grabbed 12 rebounds and scored eight points.

The Huskies (1-7) were 14 of 26 from the floor (53.8 percent) in the second half, but never trailed by fewer than 17 as South Alabama stretched its lead to 31, 70-39, on a layup from Brock Martino with 10:34 remaining.

Andrew Gonzalez and Sammy Obetoh scored 15 points apiece for Houston Baptist, while Shawn Echols added 14.

The Jaguars scored 23 points off of 18 turnovers and outscored the Huskies in the paint 46-28.
