Siena pulls away early in 2nd half, beats Manhattan 81-68 (Jan 22, 2017)

RIVERDALE, N.Y. (AP) Brett Bisping scored 24 points and Siena pulled away early in the second half and beat Manhattan 81-68 on Sunday.

Bisping was 8 of 14 from the floor and matched a game-high with nine rebounds. Marquis Wright added 18 points for Siena (9-12, 6-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), which bounced back from a 77-65 loss at Saint Peter's that snapped a four-game win streak. Lavon Long had 13 points and Khalil Richard chipped in 12.

Zane Waterman scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Manhattan (7-14, 2-8). Calvin Crawford had 12 points and Samson Usilo added 11.

The Saints stretched their six-point halftime lead to 65-45 midway through the second half. Wright scored seven points and Bisping added six during the stretch, and Siena led by double-digits the rest of the way.
