MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) The Big Sky Conference is reviewing the scuffle that followed the league's tournament semifinal between Montana and Northern Arizona.
Montana won 61-59 Friday on a layup with 0.4 seconds left. After the game, there was pushing and shoving as the coaches and teams started to shake hands.
Commissioner Doug Fullerton said in a statement Friday night his initial review found no punches thrown. He complimented players from both teams for trying to control the situation.
Fullerton also determined that Montana coach Travis DeCuire acted appropriately. The conduct of Northern Arizona coach Jack Murphy, however, is still under review.
