Scott leads Colorado State over San Jose State 74-66

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) Antwan Scott scored 23 points and Colorado State defeated San Jose State 74-66 on Wednesday night.

Scott was only 1 of 8 from 3-point range but 6 of 7 otherwise and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line as he surpassed 20 points for the third consecutive game.

Emmanuel Omogbo added 11 points and Tiel Daniels 10 points and nine rebounds for the Rams (12-8, 4-3 Mountain West), now 12-0 against the Spartans.

Princeton Onwas scored 20 points and Cody Schwartz made a season-high six 3-pointers for 18 to lead the Spartans (6-15, 1-8).

Four points from Onwas gave the Spartans a one-point lead with 3:30 left. But Scott scored five straight points and Omogbo added a layup with 1:40 left and a 69-63 lead. Onwas' two free throws cut the lead to four with 55 seconds left but Scott made three free throws and Daniels two to ice it.
