FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) Bryce Scott and Monty Boykins combined to score 47 points, including 14 3-pointers, and Nick Lindner scored nine of his 15 in the final 2:07 to help Lafayette hold off Sacred Heart 90-86 Saturday.

Scott made a career-high 8 of 10 from 3-point range and finished with 28 points while Boykins scored a career-high 19 for Lafayette (3-7). Matt Klinewski added 15 points.

Boykins hit a 3-pointer to make it 81-72 with 4:38 left, but Lafayette went nearly four minutes before making another field goal and Sacred Heart (1-7) used an 8-2 run over that span to pull within three with a minute remaining.

Lindner hit a pull-up jumper, after nearly losing his dribble, late in the shot clock with 49 seconds to play to put Lafayette up 85-80.

Lindner hit 4 of 5 free throws from there to hold off the Pioneers.

Lafayette shot 60 percent (27 of 45) from the field and made 16 3-pointers, both season highs.

Cane Broome led Sacred Heart with 20 points.
