Adrian Oliver scored 25 points to help San Jose State win its home opener 74-64 over San Francisco on Wednesday night.

Justin Graham added 18 points for the Spartans (2-0), Wil Carter had 12 points and 11 rebounds and Calvin Douglas added 11 points.

Perris Blackwell scored a career-high 17 points to lead the Dons (1-1), who scored 97 points in a season-opening win over Seattle on Friday. Michael Williams had 16 points, and Moustapha Diarra had 10 points and blocked four shots.

San Francisco went on a 24-8 run that spanned both halves to draw within 48-42 when Blackwell hit a short jumper with 11:23 left, but the Dons couldn't get any closer.

San Jose State led by as many as 21 points late in the first half before freshman Avery Johnson scored twice in he final 44 seconds to bring the Dons within 40-23 at halftime.
