San Diego State radio man rips into security in hilarious on-air rant

More than a month removed from its 20-game winning streak, and coming off a loss to New Mexico in the Mountain West Tournament championship game, San Diego State isn't one of the teams at the top of many "teams to watch" lists. But if the Aztecs play with the fire their radio man brings on game day, there's no telling who could stop them . . . certainly no overzealous security guard.

While calling the final moments of that championship game on Saturday (a 64-58 win by the Lobos in Las Vegas), SDSU play-by-play man Ted Leitner, a bit of a broadcasting legend in San Diego, was apparently asked by security to move his suitcase — during the game.

Well, Leitner was having none of it, and unloaded on the security at Thomas & Mack Center with an on-air tirade that called security "stupid!" and "morons!" and referenced, among other things, terrorism and the Pentagon. And of course, subsequently made the rounds on the Internet.
