Josten Crow scored 17 points and Sam Houston State extended its winning streak to four games with a 75-67 victory against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Saturday night.

Lance Pevehouse scored 16 points, Gilberto Clavell scored 13 and reserve Nafis Richardson contributed 12 points for the Bearkats (13-10, 6-4 Southland).

Sam Houston State led 26-24 at halftime, then roared out to a 16-point lead less than 8 minutes into the second half. The Bearkats shot 55 percent in the second half, including 50 percent (6 for 12) from 3-point range, and made 46 percent for the game.

Terence Jones led Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with 21 points. Jawan Nelson and Demond Watt scored 10 points apiece for the Islanders (8-17, 3-7), who have lost five of their last six.
