Dwayne Evans had a double-double and Saint Louis overcame an 18-point second-half deficit to beat Jacksonville 69-64 on Wednesday night.

Evans had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Billikens (4-4), who scored 48 points in the second half and snapped a two-game losing streak. Jordair Jett scored a game-best 16 points, and Kyle Cassity had 14.

The Dolphins (6-3) got 12 points from Keith McDougald, 11 from Ayron Hardy and 10 from Travis Cohn.

Saint Louis trailed 31-21 at intermission, and the gap swelled to 43-25 with 16:23 left. But then the Billikens ripped off a 27-7 spurt over the next 10 minutes. Evans started the run with a 3-pointer and ended it with a tip-in with 6:18 left for a 52-50 edge.

Just over a minute later, Cassity hit a 3-pointer to put the Billikens up 57-54, and they led the rest of the way.
