Nate Wolters grabbed a double-double, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, to help South Dakota State to an 81-50 win over Western Illinois on Thursday night.

The Jackrabbits (12-5, 4-2 Summit) pulled ahead for good midway through the first half on a three-point play by Chad White. They went on to lead by 33 points in the game's closing minutes.

Griffan Callahan led the Jackrabbits with 20 points while Clint Sargent added 11. White finished with 13.

The Leathernecks 6-10, 1-5 Summit) kept the score close through most of the first half on 47.8 percent shooting from the field, but they fell off to 31.8 percent in the second.

The Jackrabbits meanwhile remained steady with 51.7 percent shooting in the first half and 51.9 percent in the second.

Matt Lander led the Leathernecks with 12 points.
