Mike Rosario scored 22 points and Hamady Ndiaye added 14 to lead Rutgers to an 83-75 win over Massachusetts on Friday night in the Legends Classic. Rutgers (3-1) will play the Michigan State-Florida winner on Saturday night. Ricky Harris keyed a late run for the Minutemen (2-3) that wiped out a double-digit deficit and scored 22 points. Anthony Gurley had 19 points. Harris hit a 3-pointer with 1:31 left that sliced the lead to 79-75. Rutgers was able to seal the win from the line and avoid what would have been a disastrous loss after leading by 19 early in the second half. Rosario scored the first 10 points for the Scarlet Knights. Led by Rosario's quick start, Rutgers shot 59 percent from the floor in the first half and made 7 of 10 3-pointers. The Scarlet Knights had lost nine straight games in the series against UMass.
