Ross, Chuku help Lehigh hold off Navy for 76-74 win

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Kahron Ross scored 23 and Jesse Chuku added 22 points as Lehigh held off Navy for a 76-74 win on Wednesday night.

Ross hit 8 of 11 from the field, including all four of his 3-point shots, while Chuku made a career-high six from behind the arc on seven tries.

Navy's Shawn Anderson hit a jumper to tie it at 56 with eight minutes to play, but Ross hit three 3s and scored 13 points during a 16-5 run that gave Lehigh (12-14, 10-5 Patriot League) a 72-61 lead with 42 seconds left.

Navy (18-10, 9-6) responded with a 13-4 spurt, capped Tilman Dunbar's 3-pointer, to pull within 76-74 with one second left, but ran out of time.

Tim Kempton scored 14 with nine rebounds and Kyle Leufroy scored 10 for the Mountain Hawks.

Anderson and Will Kelly led the Midshipmen with 14 points apiece. Tim Abruzzo scored 13.
