Robert Morris holds off Bryant from line, 79-76

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) Karvel Anderson's two free throws with 13 seconds left allowed Robert Morris to escape with a 79-76 win over Bryant and remain perfect in Northeast Conference play Thursday night.

The Colonials opened up a two-game lead in the conference standings by converting five of six free throw attempts in the final minute, with Anderson hitting 3 of 4 from the line and Anthony Myers-Pate converting a pair.

Corey Maynard's three-point play for Bryant with 45 seconds left cut the Robert Morris lead to a point, 75-74, but he missed a 3-pointer to tie with a second left.

Anderson finished with 24 points and Myers-Pate added another 21 to lead Robert Morris (12-10, 7-0 Northeast).

Alex Francis scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Maynard scored 19 points to lead Bryant (13-9, 5-2), which is now two games behind the Colonials.
