Novar Gadson had 24 points and a season-high 12 rebounds, and Rider defeated Marist 80-64 on Friday night for its fourth straight win.

It was Gadson's fifth double-double of the season. Jonathon Thompson added 16 points, Mike Ringgold had 14 and Danny Stewart 13 for the Broncs (21-9, 11-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Rider, which averages 73.9 points per game, has averaged 86 points in its past three games.

Tied 6-6 with 13:50 left in the first half, Rider went on a 26-4 run to lead 32-10 after Gadson's two free throws with 5:23 remaining. Marist trimmed the deficit to 67-61 with 6:21 to go, but the Broncs responded with a 13-3 run the rest of the way.

Rider held Marist to 33.8 percent shooting (22 of 65), including 3 of 27 from 3-point range.

Sam Prescott scored 18 points, Dorvell Carter added 14 and Devin Price had 13 for the Red Foxes (5-24, 3-13).
