Rhode Island 90, Fordham 58
James Delroy scored 29 points and all 12 Rhode Island players scored in a 90-58 rout of Fordham on Saturday.
Delroy was 12 of 17 from the field and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line and Nikola Malsevic added 13 points for Rhode Island (18-10, 9-5 Atlantic 10 Conference), which won its fourth in five games.
Rhode Island shot 52.2 percent from the field (35 of 67), while holding Fordham to 32.3 percent (21 of 65).
Rhode Island outscored Fordham 46-33 in the paint and won the battle of the boards 47-34. The two teams had 15 turnovers each, but Rhode Island scored 29 points off the miscues compared to 13 by Fordham.
Brenton Butler led Fordham (6-20, 0-14) with 12 points. Branden Frazier, Lamount Samuell and Chris Gatson added 10 each for Fordham, which lost its 16th in a row and 40th straight in A-10 play. Fordham's last conference win was at St. Bonaventure in 2009.
