Lamonte Ulmer scored 18 points and Kahiem Seawright added 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead Rhode Island to a 69-61 victory over visiting Saint Louis on Saturday. Saint Louis (15-10, 6-5 Atlantic 10 Conference), which never held the lead, saw its four-game winning streak in the conference snapped by the Rams. Kwamain Mitchell led the Billikens with 17 points. The Rams (18-8, 7-4 Atlantic 10) , who have won seven out of their last eight games, held a seven-point lead at halftime. The Billikens cut the deficit to five points before URI's Steve Mejia hit a 3-pointer with 8 minutes, 53 seconds remaining in the game to spark a 7-0 run. The Rams led by as many as 16 points. Saint Louis coach Rick Majerus didn't make the trip with his team because his girlfriend was involved in a serious car accident.
