Reports: Indiana's Yogi Ferrell expected back for 2015-16 season

Indiana guard Yogi Ferrell is expected to return for his senior season, according to reports.

Ferrell averaged a team-high 16.3 points and 4.9 assists for the Hoosiers this past season and will lead a squad that also has James Blackmon Jr., Troy Williams and Robert Johnson returning for the 2015-16 season.

Add McDonald's All-American big man Thomas Bryant to the mix, and the Hoosiers are expected to build on a disappointing 20-win season in which they limped into the NCAA tournament and lost in the round of 64 to Wichita State.

Ferrell has until 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday to make a decision. He had been expected to make his announcement on Saturday, but that plan was scrapped following word that an Indiana student was slain Friday night.
